Laurel's daughter
Sunni had a special way of bringing laughter to Laurel, even in her moments of sadness. Her pure-heartedness reminded Laurel of the aspects of herself that she had long overlooked.
Candace
Jeanie's mother
Candace is the owner of the funeral home, Jeanie's mother and a second mother figure to Laurel. She is determined, quirky, and attentive to every detail.
